Ingredients

  • 6 salmon filets skin on, or with skin removed
  • 3 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 3/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (use real maple syrup, not pancake syrup)
  • sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a baking sheet with some olive oil (or line with parchment paper)
  • Whisk together the miso paste, sesame oil, soy sauce, and maple syrup in a small bowl until combined.
  • Place the salmon filets, skin-side down, on the prepared baking sheet and brush the filets on all sides with the miso glaze so each filet is covered by a thick coating of glaze.
  • Bake the filets at 375 degrees for about 10-11 minutes, or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of of 62 degrees Celsius (145 Fahrenheit).
  • Serve with some sliced green onions and sesame seeds (optional) and a side of rice and veggies.

Notes

Once baked, store your salmon filets in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Be sure to reheat properly before enjoying!
