Equipment

  • 1 Non-Stick Skillet
  • 1 Medium Bowl

Ingredients

To serve:

Instructions

  • In a large pan over medium-low heat, heat up the sesame oil and vegetable oil.
  • Add the garlic, ginger and green onions and sauté until fragrant.
  • While the onions are softening, place the dry noodles in a bowl and pour boiling water over them until they're submerged. Let the noodles sit in the hot water to soften (follow the package directions for best results - most noodles take about 3-4 minutes).
  • Add the brown sugar and the soy sauce to the onions in the pan and mix to form a sauce. Cook until the sauce starts to thicken slightly.
  • Strain the noodles and add them to the pan with the sauce. Toss the noodles in the sauce until coated.
  • Serve hot with green onions and sesame seeds. These noodles can be eaten by themselves or enjoyed as a side dish.
