Ingredients

Optional ingredients for omlettes:

  • shredded cheese, sliced ham, sautéed vegetables

Instructions

For Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs:

  • Place 4 eggs in your air fryer basket and add approximately 1/3 cup of water into the bottom of the air fryer.
  • Air fry for 14 minutes at 300℉ or 150℃
  • Peel and serve immediately.
  • If making ahead, place the hard boiled eggs in a bowl and run them under cold water for several minutes. Store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days until ready to use.

For Air Fryer Soft Boiled Eggs:

  • Place 4 eggs in your air fryer basket and add approximately 1/3 cup of water into the bottom of your air fryer.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes at 300℉ or 150℃

For Air Fryer Poached Eggs:

  • Prepare 4 ramekins by spraying them with cooking spray. Add 3 tablespoons of water to each ramekin.
  • Break one egg into each ramekin and place the ramekins inside your air fryer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may only be able to poach 2 or 3 eggs at one time. Add 1/3 cup of water into the bottom of the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes at 350℉ or 175℃. Take a look at the eggs and jiggle one of the ramekins. Depending on how soft you like your eggs, cook for one to two extra minutes until the centre is soft and jiggly and the whites are soft, but set.

For Air Fryer Omelettes:

  • In a bowl whisk together 4 eggs and whatever other omelette ingredients you wish (sautéed veggies chopped spinach, ham, cooked bacon or sausage, shredded cheese).
  • Spray the inside of 4 ramekins with cooking spray and divide the egg mixture between 4 ramekins.
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may only be able to cook 2 or 3 omelettes at one time. Add 1/3 cup of water into the bottom of the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes at 300℉ or 150℃. To test for doneness, jiggle one of the ramekins to see if the centre is set. You can also insert a knife into the centre of one of the omelettes. If it comes out clean and you can see the omelette is soft, it's done.

Notes

Storage Instructions

Store any eggs cooked in the air fryer in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. We don't recommend cooking the soft boiled eggs or poached eggs ahead of time as they are best served freshly cooked. The air fryer hard boiled eggs and air fryer omelettes are great for make-ahead meals or meal-prep. Hard boiled eggs can be served cold and omelettes can be served after reheating.

Air Fryer Omelette Notes

The range of cooking time given is dependent upon what ingredients you add to your omelettes. Many added ingredients can increase the cooking time required. We recommend checking your omelettes after 8 minutes to prevent overcooking and air fry for one extra minute at a time until done according to your preferences.
