Ingredients

Instructions

  • Soak about 8 wooden skewers in some water, or set aside metal skewers to use for this recipe (this will prevent the skewers from burning).
  • Cut the pork steaks or pork roast into square chunks about 1 and a half inches to 2 inches in length.
  • Whisk together the wine, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, paprika, basil, parsley, seasoning salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Push the chunks of pork onto the soaked skewers, about 4-6 pieces per skewer depending on the size.
  • Pour the marinade into a shallow container or baking dish and place the pork skewers into the marinade, turning several times to coat.
  • Cover with a lid or plastic wrap, place in the fridge and let marinate from 1 to 6 hours.
  • Heat your barbecue or indoor grill to medium-high heat and brush with olive oil (if necessary). You can also use a large frying pan or griddle.
  • Grill the skewers for about 3-6 minutes per side until the pork is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 65 degrees Celsius (150 Fahrenheit).
  • Let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
