Crunchy Broccoli Salad

This Crunchy Broccoli Salad is a classic summer side dish made with fresh broccoli, bacon, sweet onion, and a creamy dressing! Easy to make!

For the dressing:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste

For the salad:

  • 8 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 8 slices bacon cooked to crisp and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 small red onion diced
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries


  • Add the dressing ingredients to a small bowl and whisk well until smooth and combined.
  • Add the broccoli to a large bowl and pour the dressing over the broccoli. Toss very well to coat.
  • Add the bacon crumbles, sunflower seeds, diced onion, pecans, and cranberries, and toss well to combine.
  • Serve immediately, or store in the fridge until ready to serve.



To make this recipe ahead, simply make as directed and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours before serving. Toss well before serving.
