lean ground beef

onion, diced

garlic, minced or pressed

green bell pepper, diced

red bell pepper, diced

frozen or canned corn

canned black beans

taco seasoning

Fixings: salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and/or cheese.

Instructions
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Brown the ground beef in the pan, adding the onions and garlic about half way through cooking.
Add the bell peppers, corn and black beans and stir to combine.
Stir in the taco seasoning.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the tomato sauce. Mix the water and cornstarch in a small bowl and add that mixture too.
Stir well to combine, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Serve on hamburger-style buns with salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and cheese.
