  • 36 large shrimp, fresh or defrosted (tails and shells on or off), rinsed and dried
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper (optional)
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add the shrimp to the baking sheet, along with the melted butter, garlic, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Toss well to ensure the shrimp are well coated and spread them out on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Nestle the lemon slices into the shrimp, spread out over the baking sheet. 
  • Roast at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 to 10 minutes or until they just turn pink. 
  • Serve immediately over a salad or with your favourite side dishes.
