  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a large baking dish or baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Combine the paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Place the chicken drumsticks in the baking dish skin side-up and dust the spice mixture over them.
  • Roast them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and brush generously with the barbecue sauce (Make my Homemade Honey Garlic Barbecue Sauce for best results!). Roast for another 8-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 Celsius).
  • Serve with your favourite side dishes.

This recipe can be made with any bone-in skin-on chicken pieces (thighs or legs work well).
