Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

This Everything Bagel Seasoning recipe is an easy homemade version of everybody's favourite seasoning with garlic, salt, onion, poppy seeds, and sesame seeds - everything but the bagel!

  • Add all the spices to a small bowl or a jar with a lid. Stir or shake up until everything is mixed well.
  • For better storage and more flavour, you can optionally toast your seasoning on a large baking sheet lined with baking paper. Toast at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) for 5-6 minutes, mixing halfway through until the sesame seeds are light brown. Alternatively, you can dry toast it in a skillet.
  • Let cool completely and store in a dry jar or airtight container.

This seasoning blend keeps for about one year in an airtight container, when stored in a cool, dark place.
