If you know me personally, you’ll know that I tend to shy away from jumping on bandwagons. Yes it’s true, I have been known to participate in trends from time to time, like when I got my hair cut in that ridiculously popular Jennifer Aniston bob in the 90s. Or the time I bought my first pair of Lululemon yoga pants (and then my second, and my third…please don’t judge me!). But when it comes to things that actually matter (like food…obviously) I try really hard to think for myself before going with the crowd. Needless to say, when smoothie bowl recipes burst onto the scene my first reaction was skepticism, but it wasn’t long before I came around. I mean, who wouldn’t love a deliciously sweet and thick breakfast smoothie with some fresh fruit tossed in and topped with some yummy Nature’s Path granola? So when Nature’s Path sent me an amazing box full of their organic granola and other goodies, I knew I had to share this smoothie bowl recipe with you! Their granola products are some of the best I’ve ever tasted and their Coconut Chia Granola pairs perfectly with this fresh-tasting, tropical-flavoured smoothie bowl!

Smoothie Bowl Recipe Ingredients
Learning how to make a smoothie bowl is the easy part. Deciding what kind of ingredients to add to it is where the struggle can be real. There are so many options to choose from! A few suggestions include:- fresh fruits (let your imagination and taste buds be your best friends here)
- granola (homemade granola or store-bought)
- sliced or chopped nuts
- seeds (chia, flax, sunflower, etc.)
- shredded coconut
