I don’t know about you, but summer is the only time of year I’m tempted by sweet beverages. I mean, of course I love a Pumpkin Spice Latte in the fall as much as the next person or a delicious London Fog every now and then, but I’m usually happy with my plain old herbal tea most of the time. That is, until the weather gets warm and all of a sudden frappuccinos appear on the scene again. And who can resist them? They’re so cold and creamy and delicious!!
Now if you know me (which by now, you probably do), you’ll know that one thing I enjoy the most is putting my own, usually healthier, spin on my favourite treats and dishes. So when I was presented with the opportunity to create a dairy-free summer treat with So Delicious Cashewmilk Frozen Dessert, of course I was only too happy to get creative!
Let me tell you, I have tried many dairy-free frozen desserts in my day since my husband eats a dairy-free diet and most are, in a word, yucky. They crystallize easily, their texture is not even close to the real thing, and they don’t taste very good at all! Thankfully, on our search for a dairy-free frozen dessert we stumbled upon So Delicious Cashewmilk Frozen Desserts several months ago and we’ve been enjoying them ever since!!

It’s the only dairy-free product I’ve come across that is actually almost identical to its made-with-dairy counterpart, and the taste is out of this world! So Delicious Cashewmilk Frozen Dessert is ultra creamy and smooth and tastes so decadent. It’s the perfect addition to this Dairy-Free Mocha Caramel Frappuccino!
If you have a blender, you can easily make this recipe. It’s 4 ingredients blended together with So Delicious Cashewmilk Frozen Dessert and topped with another scoop of So Delicious, some dairy-free caramel sauce and some dairy-free, vegan mini chocolate chips! It’s simple and quick and perfect for a hot summer day. And the best part is, if you’re following a dairy-free or vegan diet you can still enjoy this cool treat!!

Kitchen Products I recommend:
The vegan mini chocolate chips I use are the Enjoy Life brand (affiliate link). If you’re having trouble finding vegan caramel sauce at the supermarket, my friend Amanda from The Cinnamon Scrolls has a fantastic dairy-free caramel sauce recipe using dates, maple syrup and coconut oil. It’s my go-to vegan caramel sauce recipe, and I blend it until smooth in a high powered blender with some coconut milk to achieve that ultra-smooth, caramel texture.
You could also use a conventional dairy-free caramel sauce for this recipe, like this one (affiliate link). It works just as well!
