Aside from the Pumpkin Spice Latte craziness that consumes September and October every year, I don’t have much use for Starbucks. Don’t get me wrong, I love a quiet afternoon sitting in Starbucks reading a book just as much as the next person, but that’s pretty much a 2-times-a-year affair for me. And as delicious as their lattes are, I find making them at home not only saves me time but it saves money AND calories too. And what could be better than that??
On one recent blissful sans-kids afternoon, I enjoyed my once-a-year delicious Starbucks Gingerbread Latte and I caught myself thinking, “I could probably make this at home!!”. And so I did. And in my Crock Pot, no less! This Slow Cooker Gingerbread Latte has all the flavours of gingerbread spice, and it’s so creamy and delicious!
And the best part about this recipe is that it’s totally customizable to your tastes. Have a favourite coffee that you just adore? Use it in this recipe? Prefer almond milk or soy milk over dairy? Go for it! You’ll love the flexibility of this recipe. And it’s also great for holiday parties. Just throw everything in the Slow Cooker, set it, forget it, and come back to a deliciously warm Gingerbread Latte that all your family and friends will enjoy!

How many servings does this make?
It makes about 7 servings 🙂
I’m curious as to how this recipe is supposed to be less calories than a Starbucks. I’m not a Starbucks fan at all and find their drinks way too sweet and way too many calories. In the blurb you say you can do yours for less but then the nutritional values show it has 919 calories and a whopping 717 grammes of sugar!!!!! That’s way more than Starbucks has and even they are sugar overload with 47 grammes for a 16oz and 420 calories. I’m also very confused as to how you arrive at 717 grammes of sugar when a third of a cup is only 55 grames. I think maybe your nutritional values are way off and should be corrected??
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We have corrected our nutrition facts! One serving of our Slow Cooker Gingerbread latte has 132 kcal and 10 grams if sugar.
Do you add the coffee already made? Or do you
Add the coffee “dry”?
Yes, you need 3 cups of strong brewed coffee.
