The great thing about this Cream Cheese Fruit Dip is that it’s made with only 3 simple ingredients! Want to make the BEST fruit dip you’ve ever tried? Here’s a list of all our pro tips for taking your fruit dip to the next level!
Make sure to use room temperature cream cheese so that there are no lumps in the cream cheese mixture. It’s helpful if all the ingredients are the same temperature – this will help them blend together very well.
The key to a smooth, creamy fruit dip is whipping the cream cheese on its own first. Mix the cream cheese well in a bowl until it’s smooth. Then add the marshmallow fluff and Greek yogurt. This will ensure a lump-free mixture and a creamy, smooth texture.
The dip can be served right away but it tastes best if it is chilled for at least an hour so the flavours meld together.
If there are lumps in the dip it is possible the cream cheese was not soft enough when everything was mixed together. The cream cheese has to be softened to room temperature to mix together properly without leaving lumps behind.
Make sure to follow the recipe and mix just enough to combine the ingredients. If the fruit dip gets over-mixed it becomes too runny and doesn’t work well for fruit dipping. If this happens, refrigerate it for several hours, or place it in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour, then mix again.
If the fruit dip tastes too sweet, simply add a pinch of salt and mix well. The salt won’t make the dip taste salty, but it will temper the sweetness so the flavour is a little more mellow.
Feel free to add some sifted powdered sugar, a little at a time, if you don’t think it’s sweet enough. Mix it very well to combine.

How do I store this yogurt dip?
This fruit dip stores well in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Can cool whip or whipped cream be added or used as a substitution to the marshmallow fluff?
We don’t recommend making this substitution as the fruit dip won’t be sweet enough. If you do decide to try, you will need to add powdered sugar (to taste).
Whats the difference between marshmallow creme and marshmallow fluff?
Marshmallow fluff is lighter consistency and more often used for dips. Marshmallow creme is thicker consistency, holds it shape and is often used for toppings.
What can I serve with the fruit dip?
Any fresh fruit, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, and cookies tastes great with this dip.

Can you be more specific with the marshmallow fluff? You say a ‘jar’. The fluff comes in different sizes, i.e. 16oz, 7oz, 7.5oz, etc. What size are you referring to?
I use a small jar, about one cup of marshmallow fluff.
