Wonderful! It was great on steamed veggies, also. I used Rosemary, thyme and sage, but otherwise followed the recipe. Will surely make this again 😋
I’m so happy you enjoyed the recipe! Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback!
We loved this dressing. I had to substitute red wine vinegar for white wine vinegar and 1 teaspoon sugar for honey-didn’t have any and it was wonderful. Will make for all of my family gatherings in the future! Thank you!
Thanks so much for the comment, so happy to hear you like the recipe!!
We all loved this dressing and will be making it at least every month!
Thanks so much for the comment, so happy to hear you like the recipe!!
I absolutely LOVE this dressing. It has got me back to eating salads every day! I adjusted it only slightly to do 3 tbsp lemon and 3 teaspoons honey. I use Chosen mayo which ideally, can be found at Costco because it’s a lot more budget-friendly than elsewhere. It’s fantastic on butter lettuce – you don’t even need much else if you want to keep it simple!
We’re very happy to hear that! Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
This is a family all time favourite. Been making this for over 3 years now weekly. There has never been a complaint. I just increase honey to 1 tsp and it’s a perfect balance.
We’re very happy to hear that! Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
Tried this and substituted the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt. Very tasty
Sounds like a delicious substitution! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
Made it and love it. I did however add 1 tablespoon of white granular sugar, just enough to cut down on the vinegar tartness.

Have made this several times for chopped Italian salad and always get compliments. Double the recipe and use over roasted chicken or grilled fish. I use fresh herbs in the summer and let it blend over night.
Those are some great ideas! Thank you for your feedback!
Thank you for the recipe. I would like to know how long can this be stored in the fridge for.
As a general rule, you can find the storage and freezing(if applicable) instructions in the notes section at the bottom of the recipe card. This salad dressing keeps in the fridge for up to 5 days, so make it a day or two ahead of serving to save time!
We love this recipe, we use yogurt instead of the mayo for creamy dressing. We also add maple syrup for added extra sweetness.
Those sound like great substitutions.
5 stars all the way! I just finished making your salad dressing recipe. It’s very good. Thank you so much for sharing.
This dressing is delicious, used in a Bow Tie Pasta Salad. Yummy! Thanks for sharing!
We’re happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your feedback!
This is the best dressing in the world. I make it weekly. We’re obsessed with it in my house and have been for like 2 years.
Aww ☺️ we’re so happy to hear that!
This was very good! I only had oregano and thyme, and used apple cider vinegar. It was still great! I’ll bet when I make it exactly it’s even better 🙂
We’re so happy you enjoyed it! Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback!
Thanks
This is absolutely the best salad dressing I have ever made in my entire life. The texture and the different taste sensations that pop out when you bite into the salad with this dressing on it are amazing.!
So glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve been looking for a creamy Italian dressing for ages. This was just what I was looking for. Fantastic. Creamy, tangy, herby, slightly sweet. Makes me crave salad! Thanks.
You’re most welcome! We’re glad you enjoyed it.
I did exactly as recipe called for.. it’s delicious but really thin. I would love to have it a bit thicker, any suggestions?
Are you adding the water?
Made a grain bowl with quinoa and brown rice then topped it with roasted butternut squash, sweet potato, celery root, red pepper and onion. Crowned with this dressing. It is delicious! I had so many customers just rave about it. Thank you for sharing.
Sounds yummy! So glad you loved it!
