It’s always smoothie o’clock at our house and since smoothies are our family’s snack and breakfast of choice we almost always have a frozen fruit in the freezer! This Banana Peach Smoothie is one of our kids’ favourite smoothies, and I just know you’re going to love it too! One of the things we love about smoothies is how easy they are to customize! Dealing with food allergies and intolerances means we love a good dairy-free smoothie with coconut milk or almond milk, and we often throw in some fresh kale from the garden or baby spinach for some extra nutrition. Feel free to add some protein powder for some extra nutritional value, especially if you’re enjoying a smoothie as a replacement for a meal.LOOKING FOR MORE DELICIOUS SUMMER DESSERT IDEAS?

How to make a smoothie:
A delicious fruit-packed smoothie is very easy to make, especially if you have a good-quality, high-powered blender like this one from Blendtec (affiliate link). Just add all the ingredients into the blender (don’t forget the liquid!), and blend on high speed until smooth, or use the smoothie setting if your blender has one like mine does. It’s truly that easy! And feel free to make whatever substitutions you want according to your dietary needs or tastes, but be sure to keep the amount of fruit and the amount of liquid consistent to achieve the perfect smoothie texture that’s not too thick and not too thin.
