How to make a smoothie:
Smoothies are SO easy to make, especially if you have a good-quality, high-powered blender like this one from Blendtec (affiliate link). Simply throw in all the ingredients (don’t forget the liquid), and blend on high speed until smooth. It’s truly that easy! And feel free to make whatever substitutions you want! Don’t have vanilla protein powder? Use chocolate! Don’t like apples? Try frozen berries instead! The sky is the limit!NEVER MISS A POST! FOLLOW ME ON:

I have to say, I was skeptical at first because I’m not a huge fan of hemp hearts in my smoothies, but this turned out really good. I did use pineapple instead of mango and added that 1/2 scoop of protein powder. I did have to use more liquid though and I used oat milk. But overall, it was good and I’ll be making it again

So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! 🙂

Hi! This looks delicious; just wondering about the sugar content per serving- says 30g, is this correct?
Thanks!
The Busy Baker says
Yes, however, almost all sugar in this recipe comes from fruit, so keep in mind that, those numbers represent glucose and fructose with the added benefits of all the fiber, minerals and vitamins the fruits contain.
