In our family we LOVE sweet potatoes! We’ll eat them just about any way we can – baked and stuffed with our favourite vegetarian chili, roasted with maple and rosemary, in the form of sweet potato wedges or fries…the sky is really the limit. These Spicy Roasted Sweet Potatoes are deliciously warm and spicy, and they make the perfect easy side dish!Ingredients for Spicy Oven-Baked Sweet Potatoes
- large sweet potatoes
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- liquid honey
- chili flakes
- smoked paprika
- garlic powder
How to Make Roasted Sweet Potatoes
- Leave the skins on. Leaving the skins on your sweet potatoes makes them extra crispy and adds fibre!
- Bake at a high temperature. Roasting at 400 degrees Fahrenheit gives you sweet potatoes that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
- Go for flavour. Add naturally flavourful ingredients like honey, chili flakes, and high-quality olive oil to give this dish the BEST flavour!
