If you’ve been around here for awhile you’ll already know how much I love a good sheet pan meal, especially on those super busy weeknights or days when you just don’t feel like cooking (and yes, even food bloggers have those kinda days!!). I’ve shared so many of my favourite easy meals with you in the past, like this One Pot Pepperoni Pizza Pasta, this Italian Sausage Sheet Pan Dinner, and even this One Pot Italian Sausage Pasta. And today, I’ve got this absolutely delicious, totally nutritious Easy Lemon Pepper Sheet Pan Dinner for you, and I think you’re going to LOVE it!
One kitchen tool I’m SO glad I have in my kitchen for meals like this is a meat thermometer. Whether it’s instant-read or one that stays in for the entire cooking time, you’ll want to be sure that you check the temperature of the chicken before serving – it should reach an internal temperature of 74 Celsius (165 Fahrenheit). I have THIS MEAT THERMOMETER and I absolutely love it. It works great and it’s easy on the wallet! (affiliate link)

Easy Lemon Pepper Sheet Pan Dinner
Recipe: Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 6 medium potatoes cut into 1-inch chunks
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- juice of one lemon
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic finely minced
- 2 pinches sea salt
- 2 cups frozen green beans
- lemon slices and freshly chopped parsley for serving (optional)
Recipe: Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add the chicken drumsticks and potatoes to a large sheet pan, baking sheet or baking dish.
- Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the chicken and potatoes.
- Sprinkle the lemon pepper seasoning, minced garlic and sea salt over the chicken and potatoes.
- Toss everything together well so the chicken and potatoes are well coated in the oil and spices.
- Move the chicken and potatoes to one side of the pan, leaving room for the green beans (to be added later).
- Bake for about 15 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. After 15 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and add the green beans.
- Add the pan back to the oven and bake for another 7-10 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 74 degrees Celsius (165 Fahrenheit), and the potatoes are fork tender.
- Add some freshly chopped parsley and some lemon slices (optional) for serving.

As far as I know, lemon is good for us, but I never think that it can be used for a recipe. This is amazing for me, I will buy some new lemon today.
Thanks for you comment Julia!🙂
YES! totally getting some green beans, in season now and making this! What a great weeknight dinner.

What a gorgeous sheet pan meal! I love green beans paired with chicken, and such a time saver to bake them together in one pan.
Exactly! Thank you Bee!🙂
Thanks for the recipe! My husband and I both enjoyed it. I love how easy it is having everything in one pan.
That’s why we like it so much too!🙂
My family and I are so incredibly sick of the same ol’ chicken dinners! I actually have everything needed to make this, so it’s going on the menu for tomorrow night!
Great! Let us know how it turns out!🙂
Sorry but not a fan of green beans. What would be a good alternative ?
Are the drumsticks skinless?
For best results we suggest you use bone in skin on drumsticks.
