Can you substitute with Rice Krispies squares instead of puffed wheat?
The Busy Baker says
I wouldn’t recommend it as puffed rice and puffed wheat absorb liquid differently so i worry that by making that substitution you’ll end up with crumbly squares.

Made them as they are one of my daughters favourite. So easy to do , I grew up eating them and I don’t really like chocolate .I made two pans and will be cutting up the 2nd to give away to friends .
