Hey friends! I’m coming at you today with another AMAZING lemonade recipe! We’re just loving our lemonade this summer and this Healthy Pomegranate Lemonade is one of our new favourite recipes to enjoy on those hot summer days. It’s so easy to make with just a blender and a strainer, and the best part is that it contains NO refined sugar! I love making my homemade lemonade with honey, but it can also be made with Agave nectar or any other liquid sweetener. We love the taste of honey and natural honey is readily available where we live, so it’s my liquid sweetener of choice! If you’ve been a reader of mine for awhile you’ll probably remember some of my other delicious and healthy lemonade recipes, like this basic Healthy 3-Ingredient Lemonade, this Healthy Blueberry Lemonade, and my Healthy Blended Strawberry Lemonade! Healthy Pomegranate Lemonade
This Healthy Pomegranate Lemonade is the perfect summer drink made with fresh pomegranates, lemons, and sweetened naturally with no refined sugar! It's easy to make and so refreshing!
Recipe: Ingredients
- 5 lemons, juiced
- 1/3 cup honey or other vegan honey substitute
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup pomegranate arils (seeds)
- 3-4 cups water or sparkling water
Recipe: Instructions
- Add the lemon juice, honey, 1 cup water, and pomegranate seeds to the blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.
- Strain the mixture into a jug or pitcher to remove the hard parts of the pomegranate seeds, and add the remaining 3-4 cups of water or sparkling water (to your taste). Stir well.
- Serve with lemon slices, ice, and pomegranate arils in the glass, if desired.
